About
Michelle Philippe is a native of Seattle where she first stepped on stage and performed original work. Two decades of experience followed in Los Angeles including staging original work with the performance collective The Quarterly Report, Sit’n’Spin at the Comedy Central Stage, and Rogue Machine Theatre’s Rant and Rave. Her one-person play, Tuesday Confidential: a Memnoir was selected for an encore performance at Son of Semele’s Solo Creation Fest 2017. Other credits include acting in productions with Sacred Fools Theater Company, Zoo District, and Theatre Movement Bazaar.
National credits include announcing daily for public radio’s drive-time broadcast, Marketplace and voicing the weekly “A History Lesson with Booze” segment for The Dinner Party Download, awarded 2016 Best Food Podcast by the Academy of Podcasters.
Michelle penned a children’s’ book, The Aberrant Adventures of Phoebe the Chicken inspired by observations of her own chickens.

Michelle lives in Los Angeles with her husband and chickens.
